Like a balsa slicer?

Last time I visited Sig Manuf. they were using industrial bandsaws with a
mech like on a meat slicer, every time you pull the lever the wood fence
stepped in to the blade th selected distance.

They run the sheets of bals through a sander for final finish and thickness.
