Jim: Sorry, I remember reading that, but I have NO clue how to find it, as
that was then and is still no particular concern to me.
But a tip that may perhaps be of use in this regard: Obviously, a "blank"
must be held acceptably flat "under the drill" so that the drill does not
have to traverse a quarter of an inch to do a hole in 1/16" stock, and, it
must be held reasonably securely. I use (Scotch brand) "Wallsaver"
poster-tape on the bottom of my "blank stock", and STICK the stuff down to
the drill-table (upon which I maintain a disposable piece of such as Formvar
or alum-clad "backup board", etc.
If a piece is SO warped that a drill making a total traverse of about 0.20"
won't complete every hole, then, IMHO, it is TOO warped to use, anyway! This
"poster tape" is removeable, but not so tenaciously that it will remove the
cladding off the backup board! GOOD stuff! Try it!
