College grad, and not a bad guy. We had some good raps in the time I worked
there. But he married into a family owning a machine shop. I think he was
misled by existing practices on that job. He was actually pretty good about
it once I'd refused to go that way. Really a fine-pitch maggie chuck should
have been used. The problem as I saw it wasn't necessarily holding force,
it was that the tape and adhesive layer had some flex in it.
