Yes, and thicker, too. Thus, it depends upon how much "shim" you want there,
and how much "pull down" you need.

My suggestion of the "WallSaver" stuff was based upon FLAT material and a
machine-table-top-surface being FLAT as well. It holds quite adequately for
drilling, and perhaps "trim-routing", though it would NOT hold if you were to
plough a ¼" dia. mill-bit through 3/32" or thicker stock at 2 IPS. But then
my rig is really for drilling, only, and maybe "mechanical etching", though I
have not done that, myself, being quite comfortable with FeCl³.
