For the first time ever, as far as I know: Mariss is incorrect, ;-). There
is hope after all for us mere mortals. You are experiencing round off error
in the reference that you looked at. The true and accurate conversion for
mm to inch is 25.4 mm per 1 inch, EXACTLY. To the millionth or further
decimal place.

We better stop before Bill reprimands us.
