Your name is not GE-Fanuc either. Believe me, THEY understand the process very well, and it has made them Billions. Many of their programming conventions have become the de-facto standards. Turning threads is one area where they built in a lot of sophistication in their controls, generated a custom G-code (G76) and solved a lot of problems. It's not all bad. They unfortunately are also responsible for Macro A & B, both of which someone in Japan should be running laps, eating dogfood, or whatever else is needed to complete his penance for sins against humanity.
