Hi Don;
Baumer Electric is at www.baumerelectric.com. The item I had in mind
is their My-Com series of switches. At one time others either made or
resold switches similar to these.
The switches where great for establishing offesets for tooling. They
do have a narrow space in which they will operate, so it is an open
question to how they would work in your application. For precision
location establishment they are ideal.
Thanks
Dave
