Hi don;
I'm not sure exactly what you are probing but if your looking for an
Accurate switch, Baumer made one at one time that would repeat to within
one micron. This switch used a Saphir probe and worked fairly well.
It would require a clean environment or additional protection. Sorry I
can't provide a part number at the moment.
These work very good for obtaining reference positions off of parts.
