Jon, How do you indicate on the pulleys to bore them? I was planning
to cobble up an indicator tip with a ball big enough to ride on the
angled surfaces where the belt actually rides. The bottom of the
grooves isn't even finished, so is useless for location. (I'm trying
to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear - 'improving' a small cheapo
drill press for higher RPM to use with small bits.)

Is there a better way?
