Hello all
It will run in Windows 2000 also...easier to get, don't need as big a
system. Just an fyi.

of running XP. Which adds to the build cost. What I like about the windows
environment is, being able to minimize the control software and open the
Cad/Cam program right on the same machine, draw a part or a whole tool for
that matter and generate code from that as I need it. Then save it to the
desktop and retrieve it with the control software. Having it all on one
console is a big factor for me. Saves the cost of another PC and running
back and forth. It uses notepad for program composition, which most people
are comfortable with already. My preference, I wouldnt want a DOS or Linux
based software. I never have any trouble with Mach2, its rock steady. Ron
