Dave, To give you a rough idea on servo power supplies. I'm using a 800vA at 46 volts and around 16 amps for 3-13 amp continuous servos. 64 volts DC after being rectified. I get rapids on X and Y of 120 ipm. Would go faster with higher voltage. Current mostly affects acceleration which with the supply I'm using is more than adequate. A 750 -1.5 Kva power supply would be adequate for your motors. I'm building another control and I'm going to use a 1000va at 62 volts. The DC will be 88 volts and the Geckos should handle it. Marris said they actually come apart at 118 volts and 30 amps

If I look at the wattage of the servo, 110VDC @ 11.6 amps, that is
1,276 watts.
But, if I look at it with the max voltage from my power supply, it is
76 volts time 11.6 amps = 881 watts.
For 881, I could use 2 transformers to get 2,000 watts, that is light
for one calculation, and heavy for the other.
I had thought there was some number one could use for duty cycle as
the motors are not driven DC, but pulsed.....
I'll go back and re-read Jon's post. IIRC, it was more guidelinesh
than calculations.
