Thats how I'm doing Mach screens now. If it hasn't been used, it's gone. Really reduces the clutter of things that are not needed for my particular use. Thats the really good thing about it though, screens can be as complex as an airline instrument cluster (well sorta) or as simple as three big DRO's and cycle start button. It definitely suits almost every CNC user and use. I think it's potential in other areas is often over-looked, with the ability to make screens for any use, it can be used for a mutitude of applications. Even heard of one guy using it to control his lawn sprinkler system. I might try an articulating arm.

When Art gets caught up, I'm going to suggest an encoder teach mode (wizard?). This would allow for one to move a robotic arm, Mach could record the motion through the encoders and then it could save this into a G-code routine. All coordinates and commands would be stored to repeat. Make it easy to program. So many projects, so little time...

You are correct Andy.
Mach is so flexible that each person will use it a differently.
That is what makes it so good. Most of us don't use all the features but it
does have them
and you use what it takes to meet your needs.
When you first look at it is a bit overpowering but with the proper screens
it pretty easy.
