Graham, again thanks for the information. Have you ever considered
an internet RFQ business process for solving technical problems,
especially electronics? You really should think about it. Graham,
you are a gold mine of information. I looked up Rab Gordon's web
site (www.rainnea.c..) - that is exactly the kind of engraving and
sculpting that I will be doing, so you can see why I am interested
in high speed machining technology, high speed spindles, and small
diameter end mills. A person could do some of that kind of work
with the KDN Tool CNC conversion to the Proxxon MF70 micro mill. I
purchased Daniel Carr's Designs Computed VS3D software to do the
CAD, and CAM for the designs, and generating the G-code. I've been
waiting to find the high speed spindle solution. That's why I am so
excited about the KDN Tool Proxxon IB/E for the SIEG X2. Is Rab
Gordon's "little double ended brushless spindle" a RC motor? Maybe
like the IRK Torque Max.
Again thanks for all the information, and God bless you.
