I occasionally see on EBAY a high quality air spindle, small ones run $400
or so if you get lucky, and usually run 30-80 K rpm with 80 psi or so air
( and make sure you have enough cfm also ). Make sure you get at least one
1/8 inch collet with it, you could make adapters in a lathe for smaller bits
if needed . Usually you can various sized cutters with 1/8 inch shanks.

Consider also putting a piece of ( 1/2 inch?? ) round bar in your hand drill
chuck and lower it over a mounted stationary upward pointed drill bit of the
size you use .... then leave the " bored out " bar in the chuck forever,
and hold the drill bits in with a setscrew at 90 degrees. some better, but
also not quite pro.
