Thanks Peter.
That's about a 100 micron sheet over here in the UK.
I did buy a proper screen printing machine for it, it has really nice
alignment screws, and massive adjustable bearings on the stencil frame
clamps, but the whole thing is flimsy on it's base and registration is very
poor.
I was thinking of doing something like you are doing, with reg pins and a
masking tape hinge. Easy to remove for cleaning the stencils.
Thanks for input

Hi Mark,
The stencil I use is 4mil mylar from http://www.smtstencil.com/
When I got it made I had the 4 panel mounting holes put onto the paste mask
file that I sent.
As the mounting holes are 3mm, I got some 3mm dowel pins and mounted 2 of
them
into a piece of MDF. THE PCB panel was located on the Pins, then the mylar
stencil was then placed on the 2 pins. Perfect Alignment. I then used spare
PCBs to pack around the panel. A plastic putty spatula and some paste
finished
the job.
Cheers,
Peter.
