Thanks Peter
The paste is supposed to go off if it gets warm, seems strange having to
have a fridge for production really isn’t it? Less space for beer.
I was worried about it's life having to warm the pot for a few boards, this
paste is quite expensive, many many times what we pay for a reel of solder
wire. Don't think there's much in it either, maybe have to makeup a solder
grinder! to break a reel into a paste with some sort of flux and see what we
get. I'm sure the paste guys are just ripping us off.
So far we blobbed some on a pcb with a screwdriver cold, wedged some
components down and ran it through the oven just to watch it work.

Thanks again Mark

Hi Mark,

I don't have a tape hinge. I just lift the screen up from the end away from
the 2 pins, then lay it aside. I did 3 panel of 4 boards each over the
weekend. I used the paste straight out of the fridge. Seemed to work better
when a little stiff.

Cheers,

Peter.
