Linuxcnc acceptance of anything different is very slow, if at all.

CV's been broken for years, It was denied as being broken until I proved
it via youtube a couple of years ago. Someone finally fixed it months
ago and it's still not released. It wont make it until next major
version whenever that may be.

No jog during pause then resume - wont get done, needs major rewrite
from ground up and nobody will take that on. Essential for clearing
swarf or replacing an insert mid run. That alone makes it a non starter
for many.

The user base in not many. Response is good from a few individuals, but
none are in a position to change the process of getting things changed
quickly, if at all, amongst the elite hierarchy.

It's very much a DIY project. If you suggest a change or an improvement
the answer is - write it yourself...
