Oh NO! Do NOT try to get the same WATTAGE out of a transformer by
doubling current when you halve primary voltage. Actually, due to reduced eddy
and core losses, you can safely get about 1-2% more current out under these
conditions, but the plain DC resistive losses in wire will be the dominant factor,
so you can't increase current by any meaningful amount.
