Check the wiring too.
if it is a large unit it may have multiple inputs and outputs. these
can be used to connect different parts of the windings to allow you
to get different voltages. The large units I have come across have
had quite a few combinations.
Also, there is a way to determine the power capability of the unit by
measuring the frame. I don't have the calculation but it was done by
measuring the metal core.
Maybe someone could post the formula ? or you could search this site
for the link.
