Part of the problem is that this needs to be taken apart easily for
transport. So I was thinking I'd have it so the doors retract into the
right and left "pocket" (ie, fully open) and come apart from the upper
and lower track. Then I just have two thick panels about 7 to 7.5 ft
by 3 ft and a couple pieces of track.
Again, if they have to pull a rope you are asking too much. This may
be used in the future with members of the public to whom -all- of this
will seem strange and confusing.
Emergency stop? This is for a Klingon ship bridge, if you are too slow
you don't -deserve- to survive!
