With the danger that someone else will bid on this; I found an auction
on eBay for actuators with DC servo motors. He says they are new
removed from unused equipment, but doesn't seem to know anything else
about them.

Opinions? He says he has 4 and there are no bids yet. Is $300 each a
good price for this?
Of course, I really need these things to take one second to move 12 to
18 inches. Pretty fast, I know. I think I figured I'd need a 3 or 5
tpi ballscrew for the average motor.
