DO NOT dismantle a fridge for the compressor and haul the corpse to the
landfill/recycling. It's a $5,000 fine! If you must use one of these,
abandon it somewhere, and be sure to wipe your prints off it before

These have a little float in them. Water raises it enough to open the
valve, water dribbles out. Don't know if this would work under vacuum,
if you managed to get enough water in it to lift the valve, it'd want to
suck in air and probably wouldn't let much water out.
For that matter, the vacuum might prevent the valve from seating tight.
