No disagreement with your points if using a precompiled load. Only point I
would take a little exception with is the system speed. If you are using
freqmod and driving stepper then a 133 is not going to give you very good
performance. Steppermod will spit out pulses quite well on the 133, but due
to the know ragged pulse issues the motors will not perform well. The only
step and directions setup that seems to work on a slow EMC system is to use
steppermod with the Gecko G3X0 drives as they don't care about the pulse
smoothness.
