My experience has been that if the machine is not fast enough you will have
a difficult time getting a very high rapid rate. I think a 366 celeron would
work fine, but I have no experience with it. You can use a larger drive, but
then you seem to need to partition it manually. When I installed onto a
large drive using the workstation install and it's automagic partitioning it
seemed to work fine until the first time that the chkdisk (not sure if this
is the proper Linux name) routine ran on boot up. The machine would just
hang on that and never finish even if left to sit for hours. I did find a
way to partition the disk to manually and still use the workstation install
and then everything worked just fine with the large HD.
