Exactly correct, in a perfect world...
In our imperfect reality, the cutter(along with the stiction,
friction,and momentum mentioned earlier) on some of our small(and
even some not so small) machines DOES move the table around. This is
why I have found a difference when the b/l comp is applied at the
mathematically correct point versus the point at which the axis first
changes direction AFTER the mathematically correct point.
