Yeah...I did that by accident in school some years ago on a manual
Bridgeport (not a crappy machine).

Moved the part, broke a 3/4 dia. end mill in half, moved the zero (table
jumped) and worst of all ruined the (complex) part which was about 90 %
complete. Really learned what not to do in class that day!
