Yes, I use it frequently for making molds for casting bronze artwork. The
material is excellent for mold making.
What you cast in the mold will depend on how accurately you make your
pattern and how carefully you make the mold and the parts (for sale I
presume). When making the mold , you need to be careful not to have any air
pockets trapped against the pattern. When pouring your castings, the same
thought must be kept in mind.
Wax patterns cast in RTV molds for investment casting purposes will pick up
the tiniest of details....including fingerprints...so make sure the original
pattern is clean when making the RTV mold too.
