A1) If you're running steppermod, you MUST comment out PERIOD in the [EMCMOT]
section of your ini file.

A3) The 3D backplotter that you find in tcl/scripts needs to be moved to
plat/nonrealtime/bin and renamed before it can be used. Use instead, the
backplotter found under the View menu.
