You want to know why kids do things like this? Because people make
excuses for them.
I'm getting really sick and tired of people enabling really horrible
crimes, and this is one of those, on the part of "kids" just because
they are kids. 12 year old kids know the difference, they also know
they are immune to prosecution. Just like the kids that stole guns
and ammunition to gun down their classmates, these kids had to know
that what they were doing was wrong - and they did it anyway.
Being young is not justification for the infliction of malicious
mischief or malicious injury on others.
