As many of you already know, most of the time I write my own G-Code
directly. I do not really like to work with pictures, I am more of a polar
coordinate mathematics type of person. I generally code everything using
Microsoft excel for determining toolpath positioning. Apparently, MANY
people do not like this method, but it works for me (never claimed to be
normal, by any means).

For the occasional sketch or text coding I have been using Vector, but I
really do not know how to use it properly. Lately I have been playing
around with Corel Draw (version 8, cause it was $25).

I put a sample spreadsheet program in the files section of this group that
shows how Excel can be used to generate a sine-wave for a cam follower on a
cylinder. Don't remember exactly where it is, but it should be easy enough
to find if you are looking for it and know it is there.
