Just thinking about it, we are probably splitting hairs on this one. If
you are already machining the parts by hand than any controller program
will be smoother than you are my many orders of magnitude.

So if the parts you are doing on the machine cranking the handles are
acceptable all the controllers will work and TurboCNC gets my vote for
ease of setup and use along with the range of computers it will run on.
Take a look at http://www.dakeng.com and you can download it and run it
on your system right now to get a feel for it.
