And I will be your second customer. So many of the CNC power supplies
are nominally 90 Volts and the motors on those units lose a lot of RPM
when you cut down the supply voltage. The transformers are usually
tapped for 2:1 or 4:1 ratios which give 84 or 42 volt peaks, the mill I
purchased had a tap for a 380 V input which gave me about 56V no load
when hooked to 240 V. It works but it has limited my rapids. A bigger
physical package would be fine or even a control running a separate
heatsinked assembly. Most of us have enough room for a bigger servo or
stepper control. Ed.
