A friend of mine has one and seems to have a lot of trouble with the
software. He now runs it with TurboCNC and it does ok, but I think you can
have a better machine for the $1600 if you take a little time to shop
around. You can get a CNC ready Sherline 5400 mill, and purchase a driver,
steppers and power supply and a good control program for less than $1600.
