I'd emailed Bill privately with some input, but failed to mention my
overall thoughts on the Max.
Sherline now offers a full on, turnkey CNC mill running EMC, at a pretty
darn good price. Good machine, better support, more capable software,
mega tooling and accessories...

BTW, I converted a Sherline for someone that machines small parts out of
an abrasive material. He's been making over $30,000/year for several
years now with virtually no problems, and his competition is running
Haas, Fadal, and other mega-major commercial iron.
