If you're talking about the MAXNC 10 CL that is being offered on the
MAXNC user group site for $1600, then it is claimed to be a servo
system (CL stands for Closed Loop) offered new for $2245. If it is
the MAXNC 10 (without the CL designation) then it is the stepper
model and the $1600 asking price is too high. I just got a MAXNC 10
CL servo KIT (without the mill), including the software attached to
a Sherline mill that seems to be working fine so far. It takes your
Gcode program and cuts from that. Charles
