I second John here. The Taig seems to be the beefiest of the mini
mills. And it gets even better, you can get a CNC ready taig and
convert it with the Xylotex board and your only steppers for far
less again. The Taig 12" cnc ready mill is $786, Xylotex board is
$125, new Pacsci steppers are about $70 each and your probably
looking at another $75-100 tops on the rest (power supply, cables,
etc.). Only looking at about $1200 for everything brand new.
