The mini-mill will not use 5c collets. There are two varieties of
mini-mill head, one using 3MT collets/tooling and the other using R8
collets/tooling.

General consensus on the mini-lathe group is that there is not enough
metal in the head (perhaps either of them), but thinking of the lathe
head which is the 3MT one, to adapt to a 5C collet system. It is
possible to do a 3C size collet system, though.
