Re: Has anybody tried BobCad software?

I'm beginning to realize why John Stevenson is such a big fan of
Dolphin. Jim mentions a problem he's having with a FREE product and
in a span of 1.5 hours he's got an answer from a Dolphin rep and is
up and running. Slide on over to the Bobcad forum and post a
question about one of their products you've bought and paid for, and
see how quickly a company person gets back to you. Hint: You will
need a calendar, not a watch, for this experiment. Oh yeah,
bobcad's long advertised unlimited free tech support is no longer
free. It was useless when it was free, so now that they're charging
for it the tech help department there should look about as busy as
the Maytag repairman. I've downloaded the eval version of
Partmaster, but haven't tried it yet. However, in my experience
with most things, good support is a first indicator of a good
product.
