I thought the Taig was not as large capacity, not sure exactly....
LittleMachineShop sells a complete Mini-Mill head/motor/speed control
for around $250 (at last look) and that uses 5C larger collets and a
pretty large motor.
Paul of CNC on a budget sells complete Z axies or components.
I never took the time to put together a list of to create a
comparison so maybe a couple of youse guyes who have done a complete
assemble of a purchesed Axis or spindle can offer some of the more
elusive details ???
