Make sure the screw terminals are tight with the tools meant to
tighten them. Don't overtighten and strip the threads.

In the old days, when houses were wired with aluminum wire, the wire
would heat at the screw teriminal, expand, then shirnk to a loose fit.

Many a house fire caused the banning of aluminum for most residential
applications.

I yank on the wires after I tighten them. IF there is a bad thread
in the screw, you may be torquing to that thread and not to the
wire. Pulling on the wire will reveal if it can come lose.
