Nothing like experiance to calm all fears.

I am running numbers on the spreadsheet trying to get an idea what
things might do.

0.1" per rev would be fine. simple gear ratios and all that.

I was pondering on the software in that with such a high rapid, the
warning switch should be a few inches in from the travel end.

I would hate to see 600 imp open the drive and freewheel that last
inch......

I think when you have stuff on order and are waiting, you (or at
least I do ) keep thinking about this and that.....

I'll be happy when I start to see things churning away !
