The sales guy Bill just called too. I had not had time to review v19
of Bobcad yet. The $600 sale ends tomorow he tells me.
So what else is out there??
Mike, V20 of Bobcad is already on the street, with a list price of
around $2000. Couple guys in another group have bought it for $400,
but haven't worked with it enough yet to say whether its better than
V19, or just as bad, or possibly even worse. Most likely the $600
sale ends tomorrow because they're planning to see if they can get
anyone to buy V19 @ $200. I've had them offer it to me in the past
for $199, but I said No Thanks. Do some reading in the various
machining and CAM related internet groups, including past posts here
at CCED, and you can draw your own conclusions regarding the number of
positive versus negative comments about Bobcad, and more importantly,
about the folks who sell and "support" it.
