I also agree that this will be harder that most people think. But, If Derek
has the enthusiasim to give it a try I will support it 100%. Who know, he
may fiqure out a way that will help many more get involved with EMC. I am
loaning him a system that is already setup with EMC to work from and he has
indicated he has a number of systems to use as test targets. What the heck,
if he can come up with something where it will work if you youse a specific
video card and drive configurations I would call that a success. Of course,
he will get people that whine about his setup not working on their system or
when they deviate from his instructions, but that is part of the game. As I
have pointed out before and has been validated by many users, the script I
wrote will give you a working EMC setup in about 1 hour IF YOU FOLLOW THE
FXXXXXG INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. If you deviate even one little bit you will
not get it to work unless you already know enough Linux that you don't need
my script anyway.
