There isn't really anything to show. You can buy very small standard
PC's off the shelf from $600 and up.

**These are all standard PC's built on various small form factor
motherboards. All have parallel ports. Most aren't much more expensive
than a standard mini-tower computer. If you prefer to build your own
its just like assembling any other PC, you buy a suitable mobo/cpu
combo, add memory, power supply, disk drive of some sort and put it in a
case.

The only concern I would have would be with the near-realtime
performance capacity of these, but since they are not any less standard
than any other mobo the primary issue there is just that fewer people
are using them, so it might be harder to learn about potential
performance problems before buying.
