Thanks Ron,
I was thinking about replacing it with a bench top variety knee
mill, but for the stuff I am doing with it, I changed my mind and
decided to stick with it. Virtually all of the work I do on mine is
all fun-n-games type stuff for around the shop and I have no desire
to making money with it.
I will check out the servos at that website.
Thanks!
Chris

the dovetailed column. The round column is troublesome in that if
the head needs to be moved during an operation, X and Y reference
are lost. I sold mine on Ebay for $1k. Another problem with it is
with heavy cutting, the head can slip radially on the round column.
Not good. Having said all that, it made alot of parts as a manual
machine.
then he did, then he bought his own and it was one of those fun
deals.
reach it if you have trouble.
there, for OT subjects, that are not allowed on the CCED list.
