Timing Pulley Accruacy and Servo shaft runout

I put a test indicator on a few brand new Baldor servo motors.
Towards the end of the shaft the runout varied anywhere from
.002" to .005". This does not seem very good. Maybe you are
better off leaving the pulley bore off center and turning the
pulley to compensate for any shaft run out.

Can anyone quantify the effect that .005" runout would have
on the accuracy in a mill setting?
What kind of accuracy should I be shooting for as a minimum?
