Hello,
I too, appreciate your drives and the design "philosophy" of
minimising the drive board components and stuffing the "breakout"
portion.
Your "division of labor" makes the driver boards less expensive,
but "requires" the use of your pport board. (Folks should realise
that using the drivers without your pport portion will be <much>
harder than using other integrated drives.)
Quick question: Does your pic only allow going into Synchronous mode
on full steps? (Because otherwise you'll lose steps going into and
out of sync mode with Allegro chips.) Since we cannot know in
advance when a "final" step is coming, I'll be interested inhearing
how youdoeal with this?
(I'm guessing you're using Allegro chips from the pinouts and
pictures which show traces and rivets in "familiar"<G> places.)
Thank you in advance,
Nice products!
