Dave,

I'll only partially disagree; IMO James N did a pretty good job
of "finishing" the original RB design. The kits and boards work as
advertised...

What I agree about is that here is an "open source" microstepping PIC
that no one--to my knowledge--has partnered with a Bipolar or
unipolar CHOPPING output stage...

THAT would be a pretty useful project/product IMO.
