You know, that comment makes me, a wild-eyed linux zealot, snicker into my
beard a bit.

Caudlet is quite right that if he writes a stand-alone program for linux, or
especially for emc (which is gpl'ed), he's not going to get any money for it.

It's Kory's decision what he ends up doing, but I think he may be just writing
the code for the fun of it, in which case he should proably just code in the
os and machine controller he's comfortable using.

I'd go on about this, but I think we have enough information about everyone's
operating system and software preferences, and further kibbitzing (on my part
at least) isn't going to contribute much.

The Mach3 wizards do sound cool. Is there anything similar for emc?
