The URL may be older then I realized then. Maybe still an inexpensive way
to run low current steppers, as you've said.
There's something to be said about a driver that you can "fix yourself".
And the PIC makes an interesting and flexible way to drive it.
But OK, not linear, but an approximation of a sine wave, similar to micro
stepping.
